In Yaoundé, Cameroon, Commissioner Billong investigates the murder of a police officer. On the streets and within his family, he struggles to maintain order. A man of principle and tradition, he is nearing breaking point.

Indomptables is a French-Cameroonian crime film directed by Thomas Ngijol, scheduled for release in 2025. It is a film adaptation of Mosco Boucault’s 1999 documentary A Crime in Abidjan.

It was screened at the Filmmakers’ Fortnight at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
