Les Enfants Sacrifiés du Royaume de Chimor
Documentary / Feature with texturing created by Trimaran
Along the Pacific coast, in northern Peru, the bodies of hundreds of children and baby llamas are exhumed. All were sacrificed in the 15th century, at the time of the Chimús civilization, the last great kingdom of the Andes before the arrival of the Incas and the Conquistadors.
This is an unprecedented discovery. There is no scientific evidence of another mass killing of this nature and scale in other civilizations. How and why were these sacrifices made?
An international and multidisciplinary scientific team is carrying out the investigation in the field and in the laboratory. Peruvian, French and Americans, they lift the veil on the mysteries of the kingdom of Chimor, from its apogee to its fall…

Texturing is the process of creating and applying textures to 3D models in order to give them a realistic or stylized appearance. It is an essential step in computer-generated imagery (CGI) and visual effects (VFX) production, as it allows for simulating the surfaces, materials, and details of an object or a digital environment. This includes aspects such as color, patterns, surface details (like roughness, glossiness, or transparency), and realistic imperfections (such as cracks, dirt, and wear).
